Kirara Kagami (鏡 キララ, Kagami Kirara), alias Kirara Kageyama (影山 キララ), is the granddaughter of the Alcyon Corporation CEO. Starting in the Labyrinth Arc, she is assigned to Hiro Nimura's team to discreetly investigate his loyalty to the company.

Appearance
Kirara is a tall teenage girl with pale skin. Her hair is black, and usually done up in a pair of high tails that end around her shoulder. Unusually for the setting, Kirara refuses to correct her appearance with surgery, and has noticeable acne and crooked teeth. However, she has an interest in non-conventional body modification, having given herself a small pair of skin-covered horns at the top of her forehead, as well as snake bite piercings.
She refuses to wear any part of the Alcyon Corporation uniform, including the armband, even when actively on duty. Her usual outfit consists of a white cropped tank top underneath a black and yellow varsity jacket, distressed jeans, and heavy black spiked boots.
Personality
Kirara is rude, abrasive, and self-centered. She thinks extremely highly of herself, especially her combat skills, and considers most others to be beneath her. She does not respect authority figures unless she already agrees with their ideas, and often argues with Hiro over tactics, or goes off on her own. When inconvenienced, she is not above throwing tantrums or threatening violence to get her way.
During much of the story, she is frustrated by her assignment and her inability to pull rank on her teammates, and lashes out at other people as a result. She tends to pick easy targets, instead of the people actually responsible for her feelings: for example, her attempts to get Clover decommissioned even though they have little to do with her current situation, simply because it would be easier than going after a human diver.
Beneath her bluster, Kirara is deeply insecure, largely due to a history of being seen as an inadequate heir to her grandparents' fortune. Although she takes genuine pride in her fighting ability, she also believes it to be an unimportant skill compared to what her family expects of her. Much of her surface personality is an act designed to protect her own ego: if she pretends that everything is beneath her, then she never has to try, or suffer the humiliation of failure.
Since "Kageyama" is a fake surname, she isn't used to it and often doesn't respond to it, insisting that the party call her Kirara instead. This serves as an odd contrast to all the other markers of respect she insists on.
Powers & Abilities
Immense Mist Capacity: Kirara is a greatly talented mist-booster with large mist reserves; while her exact rank is unclear, Hiro is surprised by her competence and doubts she is only that low-ranked. Combined with a relatively straightforward mare, she excels at combat at almost any range. Her aura is pale yellow.
Mare
Black Hole Star is a manipulation-type mare that allows Kirara to control gravity. At will, she can mark a location with a glowing, four-pointed star; the strength and direction of gravity above that star can be manipulated at her will. She can use this to throw opponents around, pin them to the ground, or simply crush them under their own weight.
The effects of Black Hole Star are difficult to avoid, because they target the terrain rather than a specific opponent. For example, shield spells are generally ineffective, since Kirara can simply ignore the shield and use her mare on the ground below the opponent instead. She can also create many stars at a time to trap opponents, and mark them quite far from herself with no time delay. However, it is difficult to use in close-range combat, since she has to position the stars carefully to make sure she is not caught in the area of effect.
